It is my hope that my Sustainable Agriculture Blog will provide you with information, "food for thought" and to stimulate conversation about agriculture in Hawaii. Living in the middle of the ocean, thousands of miles away from most of our food supply should give us pause for thought. For those who have lived through shipping strikes or hurricanes know how quickly food can disappear from our store shelves. We must continue to carry on the conversation about this subject matter, and to seek solutions.
