Douglas L. Vincent, Ph.D., P.A.S. the Special Program Director for Contracts and Grants for the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR). Dr. Vincent holds a B.A. in Zoology (1973) and an M.S. in Physiology (1978) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Dr. Vincent received his Ph.D. in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Vincent has authored or co-authored over 55 peer reviewed scientific papers; 2 book chapters; 3 invited contributions, 54 published abstracts and 16 other articles. Dr. Vincent is the recipient of the CTAHR Ka Pouhana (mentor) award (1999), recipient of a University of Hawaii Presidential Citation for Meritorious Teaching (1992) and is a Professional Animal Scientist, certified, by examination, by the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists. Dr. Vincent is also a member of Class 11 (2001-2002) of the ESCOP/ACOP Leadership Development Program.
