| Aloha, Everyone: Have you ever wondered if CTAHR had an alumni association composed of graduates, former students and friends of the college? With an estimated 8,500 graduates, the answer is, "Yes, we do!" We are a volunteer association of working and retired professionals who have made a commitment to support the college and to link it to the larger community through its alumni and friends. We raise scholarship money for students through our volunteer activities, recognize and honor student scholars and an outstanding community volunteer to the college and serve on College committees representing the alumni perspective and "voice." The CTAHRAA "provides a channel of communication between the University of Hawai`i College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, its alumni and its friends to further social professional and educational activities among those sharing a common interest in the College." (CTAHRAA Bylaws) How do we do this? Well, it takes people making a commitment and a plan.
