Preschools/Providers
Meals and snacks provided by child care providers are required to meet guidelines set forth by the
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). It is necessary for child care providers to have
their menus reviewed by a qualified nutrition consultant or as part of their participation in the
USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.
The Hawaii Child Care Nutrition Program will work with child care providers in reviewing meal or snack menus.
