Green Point Nursery won two ribbons from CTAHR-developed varieties of anthuriums from the Society for American Florist 2009 outstanding varieties competition. A blue ribbon was given for the ‘Marian Seefurth’ pink anthurium that CTAHR’s Dr. Haruyuki Kamemoto (TPSS) helped to develop, and a red ribbon for ‘Tropic Ice,’ a white and green anthurium also developed by Dr. Kamemoto, with Dr. Adelheid Kuehnle (TPSS). —
