CTAHR Programs in Hawai‘i County

The College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) has 8 Research Experiment Stations and 3 Extension/ Research offices located on Hawai`i Island. The mission of CTAHR Hawai`i Island is to promote the success of Hawai`i's agriculture, strong and healthy communities, and sound stewardship of Hawai`i's land and natural resources through Research and Extension programs. Our faculty and staff conduct educational and applied research programs to increase diversified agriculture, promote safe and healthy food products, control invasive species, enhance environmental conservation, and train adults and youths in leadership and life skills.
