To be eligible for a BS degree from CTAHR, students must complete the General Education
Core and Graduation requirements, CTAHR requirements, major requirements, at least
60 credit hours of non-introductory courses (i.e., those numbered 300 and above
or having a college-level prerequisite), and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of
2.0 in the major courses (effective Fall 2005) and in a minimum of 124-128 credit
hours as prescribed by the major. Some majors may require more credit hours. All
CTAHR undergraduates
are required to complete a set of interrelated courses: a course
in Public Speaking; FAMR 380 Research Methodology (plus FAMR 380L) or NREM 310
Statistics in Agriculture and Human Resources; and an internship in Senior Design and/or Senior Capstone course within their major field.
Students seeking a double major must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, demonstrate that the proposed majors are substantially different, and obtain approval from undergraduate advisers in both of the relevant departments.
Students seeking a second degree must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate that the proposed second degree is substantially different from the first degree. At least 30 credit hours are required for the second degree in addition to those associated with the first degree.
