25th Anniversary CTAHR Awards Banquet
The College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources celebrated exceptional students, faculty and staff during the Silver Anniversary Awards Banquet May 3, 2013 at the Ala Moana Hotel.
The quick-paced and light-hearted event was attended by 462 CTAHR students, faculty, staff, alumni, supporters and friends. Special guest and University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Chancellor Tom Apple called it one of the two best banquets that he has attended.
Honorees included business and community leader Dennis Teranishi, recipient of the Ka Lei Hano Heritage Award for advancing the college’s mission; Professor Wayne Iwaoka, recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award; and top winners at the 25th Annual Student Research Symposium.
