CHALLENGE
Create a new product, or repurpose an existing product made with biological materials from Hawai`i (i.e., locally grown food, fiber, agriculture, and other bio-products).

SUBMIT
Up to 3-minute YouTube video that explains:

• What is being produced?
• Why is this product innovative?
• Who will be the buyer?
  
  

AWARDS

•  First Prize: $1,000
•  Second Prize: $500
•  Third Prize: $250

Awards will be made at CTAHR’s 24th Annual Awards Banquet scheduled for May 4, 2012 at the Ala Moana Hotel.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
Each submission (by an individual or group) must be submitted by a CTAHR graduate/ undergraduate student who actively participated in the development of the project.

APPLICATIONS AND SUBMISSION DEADLINE

• (a) Fill out and submit the Intent to Compete application. Deadline: February 15, 2012.
  (b) Send in your Submission application and YouTube video. Deadline: April 1, 2012.
