  • Evaluation in place to provide evidence of these successes

Strategies/Recommend Action:

  • Begin solution 1 year pilot
    1. Retreat planned (2 days this summer)
    2. At: intake, students informed as to goals, reinstate orientations, read advising booklets, and website “At the end of your experience you should be able.”
    3. Needs assessments of I=students, E=corps, agencies, CES
    4. Clarify: who are our customers? What are the customers needs, expectation, business partnerships? How buy into system?

Challenges or barriers:
  • Missing consequences re: goals
  • Plenty of data, not getting used
  • Need to change attitudes to “can do!”
    • Gap identified: goals/competencies
      • Outcome expectations not clear across program/no flow from intake to 482/492
      • CES gap
    • Use CTAHR expertise to begin: need an informed start—work more closely with Center on Family

Identify administration for follow through: Marlene and Sylvia with input from Barry; Cathy

  • Look at change models:
    • Lewin
    • Friedman/L.F’s office May 28
    • 4 day assessment conference
  • Common source: models cross college ––> common (flower model!)
