"The Coastal Pollution Problem and Hawai`i's Farmers" (1995 VS-049).
Here proposed agricultural management measures in accordance with
the Coastal Zone Management regulations are presented. The third
presentation is "Azolla for Weed Control in Wetland Taro Production"
(1995 - VS-047) by Dr. Joe DeFrank. Though Azolla use does not quite
reduce soil runoff, this taro production practice looks at reducing
use of pesticides in taro production.
