In addition, CTAHR employs a grant specialist to help faculty members obtain extramural funding and pursue funding for strategic objectives.

Grant Specialist
A grant specialist is available to the CTAHR faculty to assist in pre-award grant-related matters (i.e. funding searches, review and comment on extramural proposals, etc.), develop grant proposal orientation materials and grant proposal workshops, and assist faculty in managing and drafting multi-departmental or multi-institutional proposals. Awarded Grant Proposals and Completed Granting Agency Forms
In an effort to improve faculty efficiency during the application process, and increase their success rate in obtaining funding, we have created a database containing high-scoring grant proposals, and a database containing completed forms required by granting agencies. It is hoped, that the awarded grant proposals will help faculty members prepare successful grant applications by exemplifying good grant writing technique and proper format. Moreover, an online repository of the completed forms will minimize the confusion regarding how to correctly fill-out the required forms, thus greatly improving faculty efficiency.
