Hawaii Association of County Agricultural Agents (HACAA)

National Association of County Agricultural Agents

Hawaii Association of Extension 4-H Agents (HAE4-HA)

Established in 1976

Purpose:

To advance the professional status and encourage professional improvement of Hawaii Extension 4-H Youth Personnel, and to provide for exchange of ideas, methods, and techniques, and to promote cooperation among all Extension personnel.

Current Activities:
Presently involved with the 4-H Centennial celebration. 2002 marks 100 years of 4-H.

Hawaii Extension Association of Family Consumer Sciences

Established in 1976

Purpose:
Educates its professionals to empower individuals and families to make informed decisions.

Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP)

Epsilon Sigma Phi, the National Honorary Extension Fraternity, began in Boseman, Montana in 1927, and was incorporated May 22, 1930.

Mission:
To foster standards of excellence in the Extension System and develop the extension profession and professionals.

Purpose:
    • To recognize excellence in the Cooperative Extension community;
    • To provide opportunities for networking, fellowship, and collaborative efforts;
    • To foster leadership development through mentoring Cooperative Extension; professionals in the philosophy and professional practice of Cooperative Extension education; and
    • To facilitate professional development.
