Gene-ius Day Field Trips

We offer field trips for students in grades 3-7. Each field trip has a series of activities that connect genetics and agriculture to the school curriculum. Being on campus lets students imagine themselves as university scientists and increases interest in science topics. The field trips align with the Hawaii State Standards for grades 4, 5 and 7. Please watch the video for a general idea of the workshop format and to see content targeted towards younger students.
