Research Interests
Research interests include a beef cattle genetics project to develop and evaluate a composite beef breed suitable for Hawaii and other subtropical areas. Additional areas of research are in energy metabolism and maintenance requirements of beef cattle.
Ongoing Extension Projects
Leads and coordinates beef cattle extension activities. Expertise and training are in the areas of beef cattle genetics and management. Extension efforts are concentrated in the areas of production and financial records, marketing, reproduction and pasture nutrition.
