ALOHA! The Laboratory for Geospatial Analysis and Remote Sensing (GREM) within the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) is specialized in the use of remote sensing and GIS technologies to address environmental and natural resource management issues.


The above animation shows the differences in the most-widely used vegetation index, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), between Aqua- and Terra-MODIS sensors, examining compatibility between afternoon and morning overpass data.
