The successful candidate will be responsible for providing GIS support and GIS task/project management to a wide range of planning and engineering disciplines among CH2M HILL's environmental, water and transportation business lines. Applicants must have good communications skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and perform work on time and within budget resources and strong understanding of GIS concepts and spatial data. Ability to network within the office and educate co-workers about capabilities and applications of GIS. Education: BA/BS in Geography, Cartography, Planning, Natural Resources, Engineering or GIS related field
Years of Experience: 3
Primary Skills: Experience with ESRI software, specifically the ArcGIS suite (ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcToolbox). Experience performing GIS data conversion/editing, GIS map production, spatial database management, spatial analysis/reporting tasks. Professional technical experience with designing, creating, editing, and maintaining, geodatabases and metadata for numerous projects. Experience in the creation and maintenance of GIS data. Strong cartographic/data management experience needed to perform job duties.

Primary Skills: Experience with SQL Server/Access DBMS's at a strong working level is plus. Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) process and software such as FME. Experience with Autodesk Geospatial Products (3D Map, Topobase, MapGuide). Good presentation and speaking skills.
