Dr. Mau is an extension specialist and professor. He has extension responsibilities for all crops except ornamental horticultural crops. He heads the college’s cooperative agreement with USDA-ARS PBARC on the multi-agency project “IPM Strategies for Control of Tephritid Fruit Flies that Infest Hawaii Grown Fruits and Vegetables”. He also heads a project on resistance management of diamondback moth in Hawaii. His primary research interests include basic and applied investigations on tropical crop pests, particularly vegetables, fruits and turf.
