8 pages, 21 color photographs, soft cover, Research Extension Series 138, 1992, reprinted 1997
In the 1970s, a serious disease of coconut trees was found on Kauai. Infected trees usually died within a year. During the 1980s, the disease was also found on Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii.
This document, based on research by CTAHR plant pathologists, describes the disease symptoms and its causal organism and suggests strategies for its control.
