I was born and raised in California. I am currently a senior at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and I am pursuing a degree in Biology with an emphasis on Cell and Molecular Biology.  My interests include cycling, hiking, hanging out at the beach, movies, and obscure music that no one else listens to.
I also volunteer whenever I can at Laniakea Beach, where I protect the Hawaiian Green Turtles from mobs of tourists. I am currently working under Daniel Rubinoff, collecting Light Brown Apple Moths and Bark Beetles on the island of O'ahu. I also help in the UH Insect Museum, organizing, pinning and spreading insects collected by me and other members of the lab.
