 Major: Biology. High School Graduated from: Roosevelt High School '02. Class Standing: Senior. Hobbies: Fishing, running, fishing, martial arts, some more fishing, tea ceremony, and did I mention fishing... Misc: Assistant Coach for the Roosevelt Cross Country team.  I am working on the Hyposmocoma project, which comprises several hundred species of case-bearing moths in the Hawaiian islands. This includes identifying case structures of hyposmocoma larvae, rearing the live larvae into adulthood, extracting DNA from these adults and creating phylogenetic (family) trees based on genetic markers between various species of Hyposmocoma. |
