Strategic Planning for HI sustainable agriculture for the next Twenty
Western SARE’s third subregional conference, in Kona, Hawaii, September2008, drew nearly 120 farmers, ranchers and ag support people to the Outrigger Kona Resort Hotel. Participants at the gathering, Sept. 23-24, 2008, learned about Western SARE and agricultural sustainability. And they discussed the key issues related to the future of agriculture in Hawaii and expressed what they perceived to be the critical needs and issues facing Hawaii.
