NREM 399 Seminar Course |

|
This course is an independent study for student interns working on the
watershed demonstration
project to take during the academic school year. This course is not a requirement, though it is strongly encouraged, since it continues to provide more information on the many aspects of study that go into watershed management. There are guest speakers who address various aspects of watershed management, from forest hydrology to the chemistry of pollutants to overall impacts on coastal marine areas.
This is also the forum for students to ask questions of the experts and gain more insight into specific processes that affect the watershed. The interns are also expected to present their own research in these seminars based on the work they have done through school and their internship.
The links provided are for the course syllabi, the presentations of the guest speakers, copies of the student papers, and a list of other reading material that came up during the course of the semester.
