Founded/Purpose:
American Samoa Community College was founded in 1970, and the Land-Grant was
established in 1980. American Samoa Community College offers a variety of
two-year degree programs to 2,000 students per semester and also provides
numerous continuing education and outreach programs to an additional 2,000
students. The Land-Grant offers four options for Associate of Science
degrees in Agribusiness, General Agriculture, Family and Consumer Science, and
Natural Resource Management.

College of Micronesia

Founded/Purpose:
The College of Micronesia was founded in 1963, and the Land-Grant was
established in 1980. The three colleges (Palau Community College,
College of Micronesia-Federated States of Micronesia, and College of the
Marshall Islands) each offer a two-year A.A. and A.S. degree program in liberal
arts, elementary education, business, accounting, nursing, agriculture, marine
science, and engineering with a three-year degree program for education and
special education.

Northern Marianas College was founded in 1981, and the Land-Grant was
established in 1980. It offers A.A. degrees in four fields and A.S.
degrees are offered in agriculture and nursing.

University of Guam

Founded/Purpose:
The University of Guam was founded in 1952 as the Territorial College of Guam
and chartered as the University of Guam in 1968 when the Land-Grant was
added. There are five colleges within the University of Guam:
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences; College of Arts and Sciences; College
of Business and Public Administration; College of Education; and College of
Nursing and Health Sciences.

Founded/Purpose:
The University of Hawai'i at Manoa was founded in 1907, with the College of
Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) having a history since
1968. The University of Hawai'i offers a Bachelor's degree of study in 86
fields of study, 85 masters degrees, 50 doctorates, professional degrees in law
and medicine, professional diplomas in elementary and secondary education,
associate of science degrees in nursing and numerous certificates. CTAHR
offers BS degrees in 10 majors; Agricultural and Resource Economics, Agronomy
and Soil Sciences, Animal Sciences, Biosystems Engineering, Entomology, Family
Resources, Fashion Design and Merchandising, Food Science and Human Nutrition,
General Agriculture and Horticulture.
