HIGH HEELS

"If high heels were so wonderful, men would be wearing them." - Sue Grafton
"I don't know who invented the high heel, but all women owe him a lot." - Marilyn Monroe
"Approximately 43.1 million people in the United States have foot problems, and many of these injuries come from improper fit," Dr. Melanie Sanders, a foot and ankle orthopedic specialist in Indianapolis, says in a statement from the Association.

Aloha and welcome to the uncomfortable shoe page created by Nicole Holi and Juliana Beck.  It was started as a project in our clothing and textiles class at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  We hope you find it both informative as well as interesting.  If you have questions or comments you can email either of us at julianab@hawaii.edu or nholi@hawaii.edu.  Thanks for visiting and feel free to look around!
