Azolla for weed control in wetland taro in hawaii
by Dr. Joe DeFrank
In 1993 Dr. DeFrank produced a video to document an experiment to determine the response of weeds and wetland taro to a floating aquatic fern Azallo (Anabaena azolla) grown as a surface living mulch in wetland taro. The video and related publications provide a detailed approach to using Azolla and specifically targets local Hawaiian farms of wetland taro. This video was adapted from a VHS-video tape.
