Weed control in Hawaiian Landscapes - 2013

  On August 6, 2013, Dr. Joe DeFrank made a presentation on “Weed Control in Landscapes and Gardens"  to participants of the Kauai Landscapers Conference at Kauai Community College.  Topics covered were web-based resources for weed identification and pesticide recommendations, control recommendation of common landscape weeds and discussion of non-chemical approach to sport turf renovation.

Suggested method to view streaming media and slideshow:

1.  Open two browser windows of this page, one will be used to view the "talking head" and the other will be used to view the slide show images as an Adobe pdf. 

2.  Click on the link to "view lecture", let the program download and start then hit pause.

3.  In the second window open the pdf version of the slide show and once the first slide appears return to lecture video and resume play.

3.  With two windows open, you can follow the lecture video for the queues to change the slide image.
