  On September 15, 2021, Dr. Joe DeFrank made a Zoom-presentation to the PEPS/TPSS 481 Weed Science class and provided a comprehensive description of yellow and purple nutsedge biology and how to use this information in a management protocol.  A related discussion included methods of rotational cover crop termination using crimping and tarping to prepare a no till planting site compatible with organic farming practices.

Suggested method to view streaming media and slideshow:
