Introduction to weed control in Hawaiian Landscapes & turf with Dr. Joe DeFrank - 2021
Dr. Joe DeFrank made a presentation to the TPSS/PEPS 481 Weed Science class on November 17, 2021. He his lectures covers web-based resources for weed identification and control recommendations, common grass and broadleaf weeds in Hawaiian turf, commonly used herbicides for warm season turf and topical application of systemic herbicides for cost effective turf grass weed control. This presentation was delivered online using the Zoom meeting software.

Suggested method to view streaming media and slideshow:
1. Open two browser windows of this page, one will be used to view the "talking head" and the other will be used to view the slide show images as an Adobe pdf.
2. Click on the link to "view lecture", let the program download and start then hit pause.
3. In the second window open the pdf version of the slide show and once the first slide appears return to lecture video and resume play.
3. With two windows open, you can follow the lecture video for the queues to change the slide image.
