  On October 23, 2015, Dr. Joe DeFrank made a presentation to the 2015 Horticultural Practices lecture/lab class.     Topics covered in this lecture were:

1.  What is air-layering

2.  Review of air layer art in the U.S. patent record.

3.  Background on study species used to develop improved air layer method.

4.  Details of improved air layer method.

5.  Out door activities to demonstrate air layer system.

Suggested method to view streaming media and slideshow:

1.  Open two browser windows of this page, one will be used to view the "talking head" as video and the other will be used to view the slide show images as an Adobe pdf. 

2.  Click on the link to "view lecture", let the program download and start then hit pause.

3.  In the second window open the pdf version of the slide show and once the first slide appears return to lecture video and resume play.

3.  With two windows open, you can follow the lecture video for the cues to change the slide image.
