Calcium deficiency in corn: new leaves fail to unfurl, growing point dies.
Magnesium deficiency in corn: interveinal chlorosis of older leaves.
Sulfur deficiency in banana: young leaves are uniformly chlorotic.
Iron deficiency in soybean: young leaves have interveinal chlorosis due to reduced chlorophylls.
Boron deficiency in papaya: fruits are malformed, develop bumps.
Zinc deficiency in avocado:Young leaves have interveinal chlorosis; internodes shorten and have a rosette look.
Manganese toxicity in soybean:Growth is stunted; leaves have necrotic spots and curl upward (left picture).
