About Us

Who We Are

Our group is interested in developing opportunities for the different generations to connect, learn from, teach, and work together. We know that our greatest natural resources are our one another. Our kupuna (elders) have rich experience and great wisdom. Our keiki (children) have tremendous excitement and thirst for learning. Our adults often provide for the needs of the generations on either side of them. As we connect and celebrate the different ages and experience in our community, we become stronger, healthier, and better able to face and conquer our individual and community challenges.

What We Do

We develop and implement educational programs that help strengthen families and communities. This website describes the Ka ‘Aha project, but for information about other programs we are involved with, see the Links page of this website.

Our Affiliations

We are affiliated with the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and the Cooperative Extension Service of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.
