Volunteer by: with Thursday's “Sprouts,” spend most our time in the nursery propagating plants for the plant sale and Arbor Day, including weeding, fertilizing, and whatever is required.
What makes volunteering special here is: all volunteers are appreciated.

Former occupation: entomologist within a government forestry agency
Things have learned while being a volunteer at the OUGC: for it is an educational facility after all…Giving and receiving…(1) weeding to keep order (eye-sight gain!)… and, (2), removing shards of glass to prevent painful cuts, and removing potential ankle twisters and toe stubbers such as rocks (pain free!)…Feeling noble!... For it is an educational facility after all... Receiving, unconditionally, tidbits of infomration and ideas for the garden at home and for energizing the human spirity...For it is an educational facility after all AND for all!
