I am working on the Hyposmocoma project, which comprises several hundred species of case-bearing moths in the Hawaiian islands. This includes identifying case structures of hyposmocoma larvae, rearing the live larvae into adulthood, extracting DNA from these adults and creating phylogenetic (family) trees based on genetic markers between various species of Hyposmocoma.
