The Hawai’i Aquaculture and Aquaponics Association will be hosting its 2017 Conference on February 24, at which Andre Seale (HNFAS) will present on “Hormonal Control of Growth in Tilapia Under Dynamically Changing Conditions.” Registration, tickets, and more information are available here; there will be no ticket sales at the door. Just remember, there’s an early-bird registration deadline of February 16—prices will increase on the 17th. The purposes of the conference are to provide the research community opportunities to report on new developments of interest to current and prospective aquaculture/aquaponics producers; provide for interchange between producers and researchers to foster research on current problems in the industry; provide HAAA members and other interested parties with information to facilitate industry growth; collect input from industry stakeholders on current issues and concerns to help guide HAAA’s industry advocacy efforts; and promote networking among industry stakeholders. Whether you are a producer; a supplier of critical inputs or services like feed, equipment, and transportation; a marketing concern; a research organization; or an organization or individual committed to creating a sustainable future for Hawa i'i, you can use the info!
