Description: The Volcano experiment station consists of 1 cottage, 1 garage (1,008 ft²), 1 office (1,536 ft²), 12 greenhouses (24,112 ft² total) and 1 water reservoir (8,000 ft²).
Current activities: Research on field and greenhouse vegetable production (tomato, watercress, cucumber, etc), endemic plants, protea germplasm, hydroponic vegetable production, tea, low-chill blueberry, ohelo berry production, and UH vegetable seed production are conducted at the Volcano station.
Special events: Field days held periodically
Crops in ground: green onion, protea, tomato, cucumber, tea, various endemic plant species, and blueberry.
