Oil from Timor-Leste Arrives in Hawaii

After nearly a two-month voyage by sea, 50 barrels of candlenut or kukui nut oil from Timor-Leste arrived in Honolulu on June 12, 2006. Dana Gray and Matthew Papania of Oils of Aloha were on hand to open the container as it arrived at their facility in Waialua, Hawaii. Papania was in Dili to seal the container on April 24, 2006. The 50 barrels left the Acelda plant in Baucau on April 12.
