Impact Reporting

The primary means for documenting ADAP-sponsored activities and their impact, is the progress report which is compiled twice a year.  It is the responsibility of each project PI to prepare these reports and submit them to the ADAP Home Office for final editing and formatting.  To facilitate this process, the Home Office Coordinator compiles a progress report worksheet, listing the items that each institution needs to report on.  The Project Manager is responsible for final editing for clarity and completeness.  The progress report for each project includes the following sections: Names of PI and Cooperators; Project Objectives as stated in the Plan of Work; Activities for the Period; Plans for the Next Six Months (including how to overcome bottlenecks); and Summary of Accomplishments and Impacts.  This is the vehicle for documenting what happened and its implications.  This is the primary document for accountability related to funding.  The Report of Activities for the first and second half of each program year is presented to the ADAP Board of Directors at the semi-annual meeting.
