seedlings to full and direct sunlight. |
|
Disorder: Sunburn.
Symptoms: The initial symptom of noni sunburn is bleaching of leaves within a few days after exposing shade-grown plants to full and direct sunlight. As the bleached tissues die, leaves become bronzed and brown.
Cause: Exposure of shade-grown noni seedlings to full and direct sunlight.
Control:
|
- Gradually acclimatize shade-grown seedlings to full sunlight.
|
Notes: Plants will
adjust to full sunlight, but damage to the affected leaves is
irreversible. |
