How To Transfer from LCC to CTAHR

1.

Meet with a faculty advisor for undergraduates in your prospective CTAHR major. If you are eligible to transfer, the faculty advisor will give you a transfer permission form. Take completed form and a copy of your transcript to the CTAHR Academic and Student Affairs office in Gilmore Hall Room 210. Minimum GPA for transfer into most undergraduate CTAHR programs = 2.0 for Hawai‘i residents. Some CTAHR programs are stricter with minimum GPA requirements of:
FDM = 2.5
NREM = 2.5
FAMR = 2.6
FSHN = 2.8

The semester before you plan to apply

Apply to UHM and declare a CTAHR major by the deadline.

Pay application Fee = $70

Fall: March 1st

Spring: October 1st

* Must have completed 24 or more transferable credits, or completed at least 12 semester transferable credits and have 12 semester transferable credits in progress

Science in Action gives high school students from grades 9 to12 access to UH Mānoa faculty and research facilities.
