African Violet (Saintpaulia ionantha)
Background
African violets can be an ideal
houseplant. This plant blooms also all year round and is
very low maintenance. It comes in vibrant single colored
blooms or bi-colored blooms (more than one color per
plant).
Care
African Violet plants like to be kept
is a smaller pot. You should keep the soil very moist or
even soaked at all times. African violet plants do not
like cold water or water on the leaves of the plant at any time.

Propagation
African violets can be propagated very
easily. All you need to do is cut of a leaf and stem
(length: longest that can be cut) then plant in water or
extremely damp soil. Make sure the leaf does not touched
by the water.
